Biographical Information:

Sally has over 20 years of extensive experience working with children, individuals and families in crisis. Sally lived and worked as a counselor in China and Poland, has served as a school counselor/social worker at the elementary, middle and high school level, and travelled with the military as a MFLC. Sally raised three children as a single mother, survived grief and loss, and today delights in spending time with family and her adored granddaughter. Quilting, gardening, working on her remodeled old home and reading are ways she enjoys spending her free time.

Therapeutic Style:

Sally's therapeutic orientations are systems, cognitive/behavioral and solution focused. Recognizing and building on existing strengths, a treatment plan will be collaboratively implemented to address the client's identified issues. Depending on the age and needs of the client, she uses play therapy, sand tray work, games, art and homework to facilitate the therapy process. When appropriate, Sally will bring in her therapeutic dog Lola.
