In addition, Dana has worked extensively with men and women of diverse backgrounds and ages as a clinician in an outpatient mental health agency, and in pastoral care ministry roles, providing counsel, support, education and spiritual direction. She desires to see people living in greater wholeness and becoming their truest selves.

Therapeutic Style:

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents on a variety of concerns using treatment approaches that have demonstrated effectiveness and hold the therapeutic relationship as a key element to personal growth. My treatment approach emphasizes client-therapist collaboration from a strengths-based perspective, and incorporates various modalities from psychodynamic, relational and cognitive therapies. For many, past relationships and painful experiences can have a significant impact on our current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, informing the way we view ourselves, others and the world. Treatment involves working together to develop capacities of the self that allow for new ways of thinking, feeling and being. For those who choose to incorporate their Christian faith in treatment, I include prayer, biblical truth and direction in the process of healing and wholeness.
